| Exclusions : | None. | | | | | Description : | An outline of the occupational hygiene aspects of physical and chemical hazards and exposures. The course will concentrate on the measurement of these hazards, and discuss the significance of the data that arises from such measurements. This also covers practical considerations of control workplace hazards and risks, such as ventilation and personal protective equipment. The Course takes the form of lectures, interactive exercises, class presentations and occupational hygiene industrial case studies. | | | | | Objectives : | After completing this Course, students should:
- be able to understand and use occupational hygiene principles, including recognition and evaluation of workplace hazards;
- have an appreciation of the methods and techniques of occupational hygiene.
