General Education courses provide students with an opportunity to study topics outside their discipline, and to learn with and from other students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Most students are required to complete 12 UOC of general education during their undergraduate degree.

The School of Risk and Safety Sciences currently offers two 6 UoC General education courses:

• GENS8100 Risk and Risk Management, and
• GENS8200 Workplace Safety and Environmental Management
