10 December, 2010:
The School of Risk and Safety Sciences was disestablished at the University of New South Wales.
This closure was in response to a realignment of strategic focus within the Faculty of Science. The Faculty of Science has committed to ensuring that there will be minimal impact on current coursework and research students. Every effort will be made to allow undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in existing programmes to complete their studies. Meanwhile, for new students, many of the programmes will be phased out or moved elsewhere in the University over the next 10 months.
