Industrial Safety
INDUSTRIAL SAFETY


These programs are designed for people working in a technical organisation where safety is part of their management or engineering role or for safety professionals who work in technical safety rather than OHS

The Graduate Certificate is one year part time and 18 Units of Credit for students with a 4 year engineering degree.

Students with a TAFE qualification or a degree in a discipline other than engineering must also complete a total of 6 units of credit in statistics and physics or another agreed course.

The Graduate Certificate is the first stage of an articulated series of Graduate Certificate and Masters programs. It may also be used as a qualifying course for students not eligible for direct entry into the Masters. It is available in person or by distance delivery modes.

This program is a specialisation in transport safety which also articulates into the Master of Science and Technology in Industrial Safety.


Master of Science and Technology in Industrial Safety
Master of Science and Technology in Industrial Safety
This program is designed as a specialist program that builds on a previous four year bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. It is suitable for people who manage safety as part of their line management role and wish to extend their learning in their base discipline in addition to gaining a grounding in Safety. It is also suitable for people looking for a specialist program building on a first degree in safety.
