Risk Management
RISK MANAGEMENT

Managing risk has always been an important aspect of business management but with the increasing rate of change and the growing uncertainty in the modern world effective risk management is becoming increasingly important.

In the past, risk management functions were carried out by specialists in separate parts of an organization. As businesses and technology have progressed, managing risk is now part of every manager's role and specialist risk managers are expected to manage significantly broader areas of risk.

The course at UNSW aim to bring together expertise in Technology and Engineering and Commerce and Economics to provide a flexible and challenging curriculum which can be adapted to suit both professional risk managers and a broader range of managers who wish to manage risks more effectively.
