Safety, Health and Environment Program Authority: Professor Chris Winder The Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) programs are an interdisciplinary graduate program of study for students with a safety, health or environment background intending to become SHE professionals. The programs are available in on campus and off campus study modes, with approximately equal emphasis given to occupational health and safety; environmental science; and SHE management. The programs are designed to accept graduates from many health, science, environment, engineering or management disciplines. GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT Graduate Certificate in Safety, Health and Environment The Graduate Certificate in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) is the first stage of a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environment. The Graduate Certificate program requires 24 UOC, is normally completed, subject to timetabling arrangements, in six months of full time (or equivalent part time) study and in accordance with Faculty and School policy, allows entry for non-graduates with suitable qualifications or experience.
Graduate Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment The Graduate Diploma in SHE is the second stage of a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environment. The Graduate Diploma program requires 48 UOC, is normally completed in one year of full time (or equivalent part time) study. .
Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environment The MSc in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) is the final stage of a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environment. The Masters program requires 72 UOC, is normally completed in one and a half years of full time (or equivalent part time) study. |
